he helped me attempt to sell a PROPERTY, not a HOME; trulia is deficient in not allowing a better topic selection. But RICK was very professional, worked very diligently, for over 6 months, to try and negotiate the property settlement. Unfortunately, the deal did not pan out, due to township issues and the unfortunate demise of the potential buyer. Otherwise we would have had the property sold. Rick would answer my phone calls at any time, and he would work to contact the potential buyer at the buyer's convenience, and follow up on any loose ends (of which there were MANY, courtesy of increasing bureaucracy, which we had to attem pt to navigate. Rick lives up to his reputation of really understanding the local housing market. He was always available for questions and gave us his undivided attention when both buying and selling a house.

Mr. Smith has been a real estate broker in the greater York, PA, area for many, many years and so has a full and intimate knowledge of single family residences in various neighborhoods as well as other types of housing. He knows backwards and forward the entire process of selling and buying homes, anticipating questions and also possible scenarios about which my spouse and I may not even have thought. He also helped to expedite the mortgage loan portion of the house buying process for us and was very good about timing in regard to making offers, scheduling inspections, and arranging for the closing date.

Can't be beat. Gives you an HONEST figure to ask for when selling despite what other "com-parables" for the area might be AND what your personal idea as to what your house is worth. He makes sense when explaining the current market values and takes it from there. Other realtors on the same house a few years ago quoted inflated values and, after 8 months and 8 visitors, we took it off the market. One of my sons had worked with Rick years ago and the outcome was beneficial to all concerned. I really can't understand why everyone doesn't use him.
